1 - Yasssıca Islands
Yassıca Islands, consisting of several small and large islands, are one of the most suitable places to spend time and anchor. The islands are ideal for water sports enthusiasts. It is covered with pine and olive trees. There is a small pond on one of the islands. The island is very suitable for walking. There are stalls that locals open to sell various snacks. Since there are sudden shallows in various places between the islands, care should be taken when traveling with a sailboat in this region.
2 - Tersane Island
It is the largest island among the Göcek islands. Historical ruins come from the time of the Ottoman Empire to the present day. The island is divided into two parts as a winter port and a summer port. The inhabitants of the Winter Harbor, which was the shelter of sailors during the Byzantine period, were forced to leave the island and migrate to Greece, as per the Lausanne Treaty. If you have the opportunity, definitely rent a boat and visit this island.
3 - Aquarium Bay
It is a super holiday cove, which is located between Pig Island and Shipyard Island and takes its name from the fact that it is like an aquarium, with its clear water that makes you feel the heat, and the smell of pine. It is a clean, glassy cove with the opportunity to watch the fish from the boat.
4 - Bedri Rahmi Bay
This bay, whose real name is Taşyaka, was named after the famous painter Bedri Rahmi, who visited the bay in 1974 and carved a work on a piece of rock here. Bedri Rahmi left an artwork on a large stone that looks like a fish but actually hides and depicts 6 animals inside. You have the chance to come and see the island with rental boats or 12 islands tour. It is one of the most loved bays of Göcek.
5 - Sıralıbük Bay
One of the most beautiful bays of Göcek, Sıralıbük bay is also a frequent destination for daily tour boats, and it is one of the delightful bays where the mountain goats drink their water in this clear bay where the fresh water spring and salt water meet. Since the beach is very stony, we recommend swimming with sea shoes.
6 - Sarsala Bay
After swimming in the clean and deep blue waters of Sarsala, where you can swim in the spring months when the weather starts to warm up because the water is not cold, you can explore the region by following the paths in the rocky area around the beach. There is also an old customs warehouse building with historical value in the area where the rocks are surrounded by pine and needle trees.
7 - Kleopatra Hamam Bay
Cleopatra Bath Cove is the cove where the historical ruins containing the sunken bath are located, where blue and green coexist. According to the history, during one of the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra's visits to the Mediterranean coast, her close friends decided to build and present this bath to her. Because they determined that there is a hot water source in this bay. It is said that this hot water is good for skin disease and that the beauty of Cleopatra comes from here. While the water is still in the early hours of the morning, you will see that the dunes at the bottom of the wreck are in motion. This indicates that there is still less hot water available.
8 - Yavansu & Martı Bay
There is a wooden pier where you can dock at the bay. The name of the bay is derived from the quality of the water coming from the mountain, it was given this name because of its bland taste that can only be drunk by animals. There is a silhouette of a seagull engraved on the ground right next to the sea in the bay. Because of this seagull silhouette, this bay is also called Martı Bay or Seagull Bay.
9 - Merdivenli Bay
The magnificent combination of the sea and nature, climb up using the path from the shore, visit the village on the hill, you will not regret it. You can buy local products by visiting this small village. There are many natural caves around the bay.
10 - Göbün Bay
This small and narrow bay is entered between two high hills. The bay is covered with olive and pine trees, and you can often come across centuries-old olive trees. You can see some rock tombs and historical ruins at the end of the bay. You can organize walks up to the summit to watch the bay from the top. It has an excellent view from the hill.
